Where's the snow

It's only January but it has been one C R A Z Y winter already here in New England

On October 29th there was a Freak snow storm that dropped 18inches in one night and took down power for a week!

It was so bad that the town postponed Trick or Treat!!

I had Never heard of such a thing before.  But now I have not only heard of it, I have walked the streets with my boys saying Trick or Treat on November 6th with nearly 60 degree weather!!!!! Again I say Crazy
This also has Thanksgiving creap up extremely fast.  Almost fast enough to forget to buy a bird!

Christmas and New Year were spent with the Usual suspects with a side of CT.

Bug, Bear, Daddy and I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday and wish y'all the best in 2012

We have signed Bug up for skiing in Feb.  The problem is that Bear is too young to take lessons and the same place.  So we have started him in lessons on a little hill/mountian in Manchester.
He LOVES it.. True he was on his bum more than skiing but he can wait to go back next week.

Hopefully he'll be skiing well enough to do the bunny slope in Feb when Bug has his lessons.

Next year Mommy learns!

Traveling .... All summer long

I went to the Pampered Chef Conference in Chicago

First time in the windy city and loved it!!!!  Learned a ton and had a blast.

Also went camping with my boys.

Learned I am neither a city or country girl.  It would seem I am a Suburbs Girl, which is a good thing since its where I live.

Family reuions, both planned and unplanned.

Aren't these the 3 cutest boys in the world!!?!

Lots of fun and more to come.....

Can pictures go bad?

We know the eggs did.  As I am throwing away the eggs my boys and I decorated for the Easter Bunny it occurred to me that I never posted about Easter (oops)

So here goes.....

 Happy Belated Easter!

The boys and I dyed some eggs the way we did when I was a kid.  Good ole PAAS die kits, stinky vinegar, and a white crayon. Now they even come with egg shaped color coordinated plastic cups.  I know not crafty enough but way fun.

They boys made sure that they each got to decorate eggs and complained when the other got to dye more.  That's the difference between Bug (who is a little OCD) and Bear (whose a little ADD) oh well.

They did this one for Nana and Nonno with whom we spend Easter dinner with.

Dinner was lovely.  There was tons of food, no electronics and well behaved boys.  Say it with me "ahhhh"

Anywhoo getting ahead of myself again.
Back to dying

Bear loved the crayon and made one "O for Oliber" after another.  I love the way they came out:

Not to be outdone Bug decided to show me how well he can now write a P in cursive!

The boys had a blast and showed off all there dying skills:

At 7pm on good Friday Bug informed me that the Easter Bunny refills our baskets, looks at our pretty eggs, eats a carrot and then hides PLASTIC eggs filled with candy.

At 745 on Good Friday this mama was at Hanniford's buying the last bag of plastic eggs and Robin's Eggs to fill them with.

All in all it was a great Easter.
And keeping with my theme of being a "Regular Catholic"  we didn't go to church.  (oopsie)

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday whether you celebrated Easter, Passover, nothing or your thing

Where have you been?

Wow, has it been over a month since I posted last?

I guess it makes sense.  My last post was on Feb 25th and I signed up to be a consultant on the 26th.

What kind of consultant you ask?

Well let me start by saying that I have a small addiction to home parties. I've been to everything from Shaklee, Melaleuca, Arbonne, Pampered Chef, Lia Sophia, Silpada, Stamping up, Creative Memories, and more.

I've purchased cleaning supplies, kitchen gadgets, face creams, jewelry, candles, ink pads, Christmas decorations, and even art.

Over the last couple of years I have developed not only an addiction to home parties but also to one specific kind.  I love their products and have been spending a ton of money purchasing them.  I have hosted at least 4 parties in the last 2 years in order to receive their products free or at a discounted rate!

Well I finally decided to bite the bullet and start selling them myself.

It has only been a little while but I am Loving it.  I never thought that I would enjoy being a salesperson.  But, I am enjoying it so much that I am planning on attending there yearly conference in Chicago this July.  I am so excited!!!

Have you figured it out yet?

Go here to find out.

It's Freezing

The frigid temps here in New England are making me miss Fla already.
Thank goodness I have this picture.

Just looking at Bug on South Beach warms my heart :-)
